About XIT Networks, LLC.

XIT Networks provides a hardened, fully redundant Cyber Defense Security Center (CDSC) built to the security standards of a Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facility (SCIF). Located in Omaha, Nebraska, with corporate headquarters in Houston, Texas, the XIT CDSC’s facility and system was designed to provide ultra secure network and data management services that would assist the Defense Department, State and Local Governments and private entities in complying with Federal laws for the security of confidential data to include the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) of 2002.

By proactively assessing, preventing, detecting and responding to threats and misuse of sensitive and confidential data using a centralized, multi-layered defensive network system, the CDSC gives client organizations the confidence that they are technologically insured in meeting the goals of the various Information System regulatory agencies.

XIT’s services were constructed to exceed the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s (NIST) Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) framework to assure the effective security and privacy of computing systems.  Directly related to the FISMA act are several other regulatory acts that address specific markets and computing activities such as the Personal Credit Information (PCI) regulations (the Fair & Accurate Credit Transactions Act effective in November 2008 and the Gramm-Leach Bliley Act); the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the Sarbanes-Oxley act pursuant to financial reporting, requires that public companies maintain a network security policy and that they can demonstrate that the policy is followed.

The CDSC’s goal is to assist an organization’s ability to meet or exceed all standards set by these regulations, thereby offsetting the potential of exorbitant fines from the Federal Trade Commission and to provide an alternative to the significant increase in the cost of the IT infrastructure needed to support the technologies, operations and reporting necessary to achieve and maintain compliance.

The net effect is to protect our clients from a disastrous loss or breach of sensitive data, thereby resulting in a calamity of fines, lawsuits and the discrediting of the company’s profile publically.

XIT provides these services through Service Level Agreements (SLA) that are tailored to a specific customer’s requirement. The SLA determines the services and responses expected by each customer and apply to applications, hardware, software, appliances, profile status, and user permissions.  They also define required reliability and incident response times.  The SLAs are also used to interface with accounting and billing programs to determine the costs of services and responses.

XIT Networks is composed of accomplished business and engineering professionals who have a proven track record of successfully developing and delivering communication capabilities.
